Final Reflection

 Module Learning:

At the start of this semester, my key goals were to take more initiative and take more authoritative roles when communicating. I'd like to believe I have done so by taking the role of a group leader for my technical report group. This role has helped me to delegate tasks and ensure smooth collaboration with my peers. Additionally, during this time period, I have also taken up a new job, and while I still find it scary to talk to my superior, sometimes I recognize I am growing more confident in these interactions. By actively reflecting on my experiences, I have become more aware of areas that I can improve, such as asserting my ideas more clearly and asking questions with more confidence. To further enhance these skills in the upcoming future, I ai to seek more opportunities where I can have constructive discussions and engage in critical self-reflection. By continuously applying what I have learned, I hope to continue to strengthen my ability to think critically and communicate effectively with more confidence in both academic and professional settings.

Project Learning:

Through my research project, I’ve learned that presentation skills go beyond simply conveying information , they involve engaging the audience and ensuring clarity. I realized that many people often focus too much on technical details, forgetting that audience understanding is more important than the precision and accuracy of the content. I also learned the importance of balancing thoroughness with conciseness and how teamwork requires smoothly integrating others’ ideas into the presentation. Practicing in front of peers helped me refine my delivery, and I became more aware of the value of non-verbal communication, such as body language and tone. This experience taught me that effective presentations require preparation, confidence, and adaptability, and I’ll carry these lessons forward to communicate more clearly and engage audiences better in future projects.
